Since lifting off in 2006, IndiGo has become the largest passenger airline in India. Specialising in low-cost, domestic travel, their reputation for delivering courteous and punctual service has put them a cut above the rest. Since their first flight, they have gone on to win numerous awards over the years, including for best low-cost carrier in central Asia five years in a row.

Hand luggage across all routes is limited to 1 bag weighing no more than 7kg.
Checked baggage is limited to 15kg.
Infants are allowed up to 7kg of hand luggage as well as 1 stroller/ pram per child.
For flights to Bangkok, Kathmandu and Dhaka – no more than 20kg of checked baggage.
For flights to Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Muscat, Sharjah & Singapore – no more than 30kg of checked baggage.
Infants are allowed up to 7kg of checked luggage as well as 1 stroller/ pram per child.
Online check-in with IndiGo is available up to 1 hour before flight departure.
Download the IndiGo App to register for mobile check-in. After checking in via mobile, print your boarding pass and proceed straight to the boarding gate. If you do not have a printout, you’ll need to queue for one at the airport counter.
For domestic flights passengers are advised to be at the airport at least 2 hours ahead of time to avoid any delays. Check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure.
For international flights passengers are advised to arrive at check-in 4 hours before departure. Check-in counters close 75 minutes before scheduled departure.
To ensure low fares for their passengers, IndiGo’s onboard facilities are relatively limited. Passengers are encouraged to bring a warm blanket/ shawl on board as well as any amenities they may need. IndiGo does not offer in-flight entertainment, except for their in-flight magazine, Hello 6E.
Complimentary water is given throughout your flight. Passengers are welcome to bring their own food on board, ideally cold snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. A range of sandwiches, noodles, snacks and refreshments are available to purchase on board.
Please note that alcohol may not be served or consumed on domestic flights. Alcoholic drinks may be purchased on international flights.
Onboard payments may be made with cash or credit card (Visa/ Mastercard only).
